Hi there! a word about myself & my beautiful family- My name is December Gray. I am the owner/teacher/operator of The Little Dude Ranch, which was opened in 2009 & has been running strong ever since. This unique preschool & childcare is run out of my home, where I live with my husband of over 30+years, David Gray, and college student, Gabriel 20. Our second child, Miss Olivia (26 yr old) is my ever helpful teacher/assistant, she is pursuing an education in Early Childhood Development. She lives locally & has a family of her own. Our third child, Madison is 29, and has her own family & is pursuing her degree in Berkley for Child Psychology. My mother, Miss Quin, is a retired developmentally delayed/preschool teacher, and she is also our second teacher/assistant. Teaching & working with children is in our DNA. 🙂
It is my belief that an in-home preschool & childcare is one of the best decisions you can make for your child’s first 5 years of life. We offer an excellent program with a full theme/play based preschool curriculum, including Zoo Phonics! Your child will learn their ABC’s & 1-2-3’s in a safe, clean, & loving environment. This is all offered in a home setting that will be comfortable & familiar to your child. Some of the reasons you may be leaning toward an in home preschool instead of a center may be that we can offer the one-on-one attention your child deserves. Also, we have a smaller child ratio than a center based childcare which helps to cut down on common childhood illnesses.
