After completing undergraduate art degrees at UC San Diego, Erica received an International Scholarship to pursue a Master of Arts degree in London. She created, lived and traveled abroad before moving back to the States.
Now based in Sacramento, she produces murals for residential and public spaces, creates mixed media art and teaches art to students in her community. In murals she often promotes the beauty of the Sacramento region, painting native flora and fauna at grand scale to celebrate the natural world. In studio work, a stylistic blend of earth, sky and water blend with foregrounded subjects, symbolizing the connection among all living things.
